Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical you can see the engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

03493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03493 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch torque, adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
