Diameter in engine glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low and wait then nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
03492 Possible Causes:
03492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03492 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
