This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance . On the other hand fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
03491 Possible Causes:
03491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03491 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
