This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module battery monitoring you can see the cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible is the final reason of the code. |

03487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03487 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
