Staring in engine exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
03478 Possible Causes:
03478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03478 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
