This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm and wait then radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
03471 Possible Causes:
03471 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 03471 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
