This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ecm/pcm power input, signal low you can see the mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low is the final reason of the code. |
03464 Possible Causes:
03464 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03464 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
