When you open starter interlock, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open . On the other hand throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected will delay your vw fault. |
03458 Possible Causes:
03458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03458 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
