The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ or pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
03445 Possible Causes:
03445 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03445 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
