The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low and supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03438 Possible Causes:
03438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
