Staring in engine crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open and sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low will delay your vw fault. |
03431 Possible Causes:
03431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03431 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
