03431 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground you can see the pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
03431 Possible Causes:
03431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 03431 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
