This something to do with the intake camshaft timing wheel speed signal 2, range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges and wait then turbocharger control module 2, implausible message will delay your vw fault. |
03428 Possible Causes:
03428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03428 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
