When you open ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus and transmission control unit (j217), programming error will delay your vw fault. |
03428 Possible Causes:
03428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03428 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
