03428 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 2, system too lean at idle and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03428 Possible Causes:
03428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 03428 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
