Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
03425 Possible Causes:
03425 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 03425 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
