03421 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault water in fuel sensor, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent also o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |
03421 Possible Causes:
03421 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03421 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
