This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high or change fuel pump "a", low flow / performance is the final reason of the code. |
03412 Possible Causes:
03412 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03412 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
