03406 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission control unit relay, short to b+ or change ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
03406 Possible Causes:
03406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 03406 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of brake system ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
