This something to do with the intake camshaft timing manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
03403 Possible Causes:
03403 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03403 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
