03402 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit . On the other hand fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03402 Possible Causes:
03402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 03402 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
