Staring in engine exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf and diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation will delay your vw fault. |
03400 Possible Causes:
03400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03400 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
