03399 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing starter interlock, circuit open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module defective and secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03399 Possible Causes:
03399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03399 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
