This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit you can see the fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
03379 Possible Causes:
03379 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03379 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
