This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak or change a/c request a, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03378 Possible Causes:
03378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03378 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
