Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ or change data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) is the final reason of the code. |
03358 Possible Causes:
03358 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03358 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
