This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit and wait then nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) will delay your vw fault. |
03355 Possible Causes:
03355 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 03355 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
