03342 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
03342 Possible Causes:
03342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03342 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
