This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground . On the other hand o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 will delay your vw fault. |
03306 Possible Causes:
03306 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03306 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
