The problem is about shift up/down wire, open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "a", range / performance and malfunction indication light (k83), open will delay your vw fault. |
03293 Possible Causes:
03293 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 03293 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
