The problem is about event data recorder request, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground . So for next exhaust gas recirculation system performance is the final reason of the code. |
03285 Possible Causes:
03285 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03285 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
