When you open ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cylinder 8 above knock threshold and vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03278 Possible Causes:
03278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 03278 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
