The problem is about particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance and wait then data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
03260 Possible Causes:
03260 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03260 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
