Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground you can see the post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit will delay your vw fault. |
03257 Possible Causes:
03257 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03257 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for torque support mount, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
