The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so shift up/down wire, short to b+ . On the other hand intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
03231 Possible Causes:
03231 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 03231 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
