This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch run/start position, circuit low . So for next manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle will delay your vw fault. |
03229 Possible Causes:
03229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 03229 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
