The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded or change cylinder 12 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
03228 Possible Causes:
03228 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 03228 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
