The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, lower limit not reached also intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
03227 Possible Causes:
03227 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 03227 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
