This code were stamped on VW Engine case pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range . So for next transmission range display, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03224 Possible Causes:
03224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03224 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
