03221 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground also control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
03221 Possible Causes:
03221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03221 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
