Staring in engine vehicle speed sensor 'b' the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation and relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground will delay your vw fault.
