03216 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high or engine torque reduction, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03216 Possible Causes:
03216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03216 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
