03212 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high or 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
03212 Possible Causes:
03212 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03212 Code
- Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
