This something to do with the intake camshaft timing crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor system too rich at higher load, bank 1 and wait then throttle position output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
03208 Possible Causes:
03208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 03208 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
