This code were stamped on VW Engine case control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open and internal control module: eeprom error is the final reason of the code. |
03198 Possible Causes:
03198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 03198 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
