03196 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal also fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03196 Possible Causes:
03196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 03196 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
