The problem is about wheel speed signal 2, range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal and wait then diesel particulate filter regeneration duration is the final reason of the code. |
03186 Possible Causes:
03186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03186 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
