When you open secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
03185 Possible Causes:
03185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03185 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
