This something to do with the intake camshaft timing altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03184 Possible Causes:
03184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 03184 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
