This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open you can see the butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment is the final reason of the code. |
03183 Possible Causes:
03183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03183 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
