This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance or change wheel speed signal 1, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
03180 Possible Causes:
03180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03180 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
