The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller you can see the drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
03180 Possible Causes:
03180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 03180 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
