Staring in engine a/c request b, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent . So for next engine coolant level low will delay your vw fault. |
03179 Possible Causes:
03179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03179 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
