Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground also engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
03177 Possible Causes:
03177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 03177 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
