03177 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high or change data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics is the final reason of the code. |
03177 Possible Causes:
03177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03177 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
